National Bank of Oman

National Bank of Oman, the first local bank in the Sultanate of Oman, was founded in 1973 and is today the second largest bank in Oman with a paid up capital of RO (Omani Riyals) 70 million (US$182 million) and a net worth of RO 118.5 million (US$ 308 million), as at 31st December, 2003. The Bank serves its customers in Oman through 49 branches and 74 ATMs as well as 5 branches in Egypt and 1 in Abu Dhabi.

The Requirement

The National Bank of Oman was planning to go online. It would offer services like net banking to its customers and corporate software for large organizations to facilitate ease in transactions. They needed a solution that would explain the process to conduct transactions online.

Our Approach to Solution

BeakWare was set the task of developing an online demo and help facility for users. This involved content development comprising of short flash demos using Viewlet Builder giving users step-by-step instructions on how to use the various features and facilities.
